Donate Money or Materials!

The cost of a typical Habitat house (1,050 sq. ft., 3 bedroom with basement) is approximately $68,000. Habitat houses are sold at no profit with no-interest loans to partner families. Donations of money or materials can be made by completing the donation form. If you have questions about a material donation, please call the Saginaw Habitat for Humanity Office at (989) 753-5200. Over the last four years, over 90% of SHFH's budget was program expenses used to build homes in Saginaw County.

Sponsor a Habitat House

Saginaw Habitat for Humanity has good relationships with the local churches, businesses, and other organizations to encourage participate in its ministry. Saginaw Habitat for Humanity invites groups to sponsor the construction of Habitat houses. What it means to sponsor a Habitat house:

• Financial sponsorship: raising the funds to cover at least half the cost of construction, approximately $30,000
• Building sponsorship: recruiting and scheduling all volunteers, both construction and support volunteers.
• Spiritual sponsorship: praying for the ministry of Habitat and those involved in the house you are building
